How Can PCB Assembly Service Maintain High Quality?
1.Solder Paste Inspecting (SPI)
Solder Paste Inspection minimizing SMT board failures due to poor solder paste release.
Inspection Function:
It verifies the correct solder paste deposits for volume, area, height, offset and deformity to reduce solder joint defects.
2.Automatic Optic Inspection(AOI)
We use the latest 3D AOI for inspecting components after SMT & THT, which is much better than 2D/2.5D AOI.
It can detect various defects such as open and short circuits, wrong polarity, misplaced or missing components, wrong orientation of IC packages, stains, cuts, scratches, insufficient solder paste, solder bridges, cracked solder joints, and excess solder.
X-ray inspection inspects inside the board and inside all components on the board verifying all connections have been made accurately.
Inspection Function:
Open circuit, short circuit, defective or fault connection,welding line offset bridging,Solder joints empty inspection and measurement,Integrity inspection of solder ball in array package and chip covering packaging.
4.First Article Inspection (FAI)
Before starting mass production, we create five PCBA pieces and choose one of them randomly for the FAI inspection.
If there are any problems during assembly, the FAI process will help us make necessary adjustments to our manufacturing equipment. Once the PCBA passes all quality checks, we will provide you with an FAI report for your review and approval before starting the mass production.
Functional testing involves replicating the actual operating environment in order to validate compliance with design specifications and ensure that the product functions as intended in its target environment
but with a focus on extending the testing to cover a wider range of potential scenarios and use cases. This extended testing helps to identify any potential issues that may arise in real-world use and provides a more comprehensive assessment of the product’s functionality.
6.Packing & Shipping
Packaging usually involves sealing the material around the printed circuit board to keep dust, moisture and other foreign objects out. All our PCB boards are shipped in vacuum packages. All our PCBA boards are shipped with anti-static packaging and Shock-proof packaging.
